Kaizer Chiefs will host Sekhukhune United on Tuesday night at FNB Stadium in the Betway Premiership match. In the last five matches, they haven't been beaten, even conceding. In the opening match of the season, Amakhosi won 2-0 against Stellenbosch FC. In the first home game of the season, they won 1-0 against Richards Bay, then 1-0 against Polokwane City.
Following the return of the Head Coach Nasreddine Nabi from Tunisia, Kaizer Chiefs drew 0-0 with Mamelodi Sundowns and beat Lamontville Golden Arrows 1-0 at Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban just before the FIFA break. Kaizer Chiefs defender Zitha Kwinika shared his thoughts regarding the match against Sekhukhune United.
Speaking at the press conference in Naturena, Kwinika said, "It's one of the good teams in the league." We respect them; taking into account the experience they have and the quality players they have. So, it's upon us also to take it for us to do well for us to compete with such players, such individuals, people who compete in the league.
"So, it's a good task for us to really show that we are up for this." Amakhosi will entertain Sekhukhune United FNB Stadium; kick-off is at 19h20. After the match, Amakhosi will then have to travel to Angola for the CAF Confederations Cup 1st preliminary round.
