Willard Katsande after Angola and Zimbabwe match
The former Kaizer Chiefs and Zimbabwe national team midfielder Willard Katsande believes that the Warriors coach should have kept Knowledge Musona at least more minutes on the field. Zimbabwe played a 1-1 draw against Angola in the AFCON Group B match on Friday afternoon. In their opening match in the AFCON, they lost 2-1 to Egypt, and Angola lost 2-1 to Bafana Bafana as well in their opening match. Both teams have to win their next matches in order to stand a chance to qualify for the next round.
Zimbabwe will face the on-form Bafana Bafana, while Angola will face Egypt. Katsande further said the goals that Zimbabwe is conceding are avoidable. Angola national team captain Alfred Ribeiro won the man of the match. Ribeiro said, "It is sad that we didn’t win the match. It was going to give us one step ahead, but we will have the game against Egypt." The Zimbabwe technical team made a number of changes in the team; replacing Teenage Hadebe for B. Galloway, T. Chirewa in for Bill Antonio, Ishmael Wadi in for Knowledge Musona, and in the 89th minute, W. Navaya in for M. Bonne. Ishmael Wadi, JR Fabisch, Prince Dube, and Divine Lunga all received yellow cards. For Angola, it was Maestro, Show, and Zito Luvumbo.
