Following the absence of Nasreddine Nabi due to family responsibilities, Kaizer Chiefs assistant coach Khalil Ben Youssef provided an update on the return of Nabi. Amakhosi have started the season with three wins, after beating Richards Bay 1-0 at FNB Stadium on Tuesday night.

Youssef said, "Coach Nabi will be with us this week to prepare for the next game against Mamelodi Sundowns." After winning against Richards Bay, Youssef said, "Congratulations to the players and technical staff. I think they did a very good job in these two weeks. About the game, we discussed situations when we play against teams using a low block.

"For the first half, I think it wasn't good; the rotation was so slow. We found a lot of difficulty in the middle. In the second half, we decided to remove Ox with Ndlovu; we tried a more attacking side, playing with character. It was a decision for Mshini and Sirino. In the second half, we took the game; in the first half, we had a lot of opportunities to score.

"I was hoping for the first 15 minutes, but after we scored, you would think to finish the game, to kill the game by scoring the second goal."
