Thetha FM DJ - Nomsa Ninkies

Thetha FM radio DJ Nomsa Ninkies started radio in 2007 at VUT FM. After learning from the likes of Wilson B Nkosi Metro FM DJ and Msizi Shembe. To those who are still dreaming to work, Ninkies said, "Radio is beautiful, it's an amazing platform on its own. It goes hand in hand with passion and dedication. You can't do radio if you are not passionate about it, especially in Community Radio. There are so many challenges that would affect you and your livelihood. I can name a few: financial constraints and emotional trauma. You are dealing with thousands of listeners with different emotions.

"You gotta be strong for your listeners while you have your own issues to deal with. It's a matter of balance, passion, and dedication. Learn as much as you can, don't imitate anyone, be you, and be willing to learn." Ninkies sent a message to Thetha FM listeners: "I, Nomsa Ninkies, am a soul that, if given the opportunity to change lives, I do that with no wink of an eye. It is so unfortunate that life can never give you everything. You can have power without ideas or never have ideas but power. I'm working really hard towards implementing change with my talent. I'm going to work hard so that one day, I will need no introduction on changing people's lives. There's something in you that can change your life. Find it, water it, nurture it, and pray as hard as you can. It's in you, you can do it. Give me the mic and I'll show you my CV."
