KwaZulu Natal Premier Mr. Thami Ntuli has endorsed Kwazulu Natal Provincial Police Commissioner General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi for a second term . The premier has praised Mkhwanazi for dealing with crime in the province and for his bravery on exposing political interference on the judiciary . On the July 06 last year , he surprised everyone when he called press conference to exposes corruption within the judiciary . As a results of the July press conference , Madlanga Commission was established and AD HOC Committee to investigation all the allegations made by General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi .

Speaking to SA FM on Thursday afternoon Ntuli said " as the matter of priority we have established structures to collaborate ; the police and the public and that has improved . We believe that we have a province that is free from crime and investors will come . In the province we will realize new job opportunities because investors won't fear to come into that particular province . We have insured R100 million . It is by law that the national commissioner appoints Provincial Commissioner , and then the national commissioner will will seek advice from the premier .

" As the province of KwaZulu Natal we have seen his strengths, he is a police of integrity and KZN people are supporting that his contract must be renewed . Infact he is nolonger a policemen because he is known even outside the province of KwaZulu Natal . It was a revelation that no one was bold enough to expose issues to the Public , challenges we are facing as a country . He felt it was very important for him to shared that . He is a smart policeman , man of integrity . Even on Festive season they were working, making arrests . To work nationally i think that will be his interest .

" But then it will be up to him and the national commissioner , but as for us in the province ; we are quite happy about his job . Even though it is not him directly who is doing the arrests , but there's no good school without good principal. Even police who committed mis conducts all were reported and some arrested . " .
