The newly promoted club in the Betway Premiership, Durban City, have completed the signing of Thabo Nodada from the relegated side Cape Town City. Gavin Hunt from Supersport United joined the club ahead of the new season; he was part of the pre-season training when they lost to Richards Bay in the KZN Premier's Cup.

Other new signings are Jean Lwamba from the Botswana team, Tafic FC; the former Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper, Rowen Fernandez, is a new goalkeeper coach, and Haashim Domingo, who is a former Raja Athletic Club player in Morocco. Domingo has also played for Mamelodi Sundowns, Bidvest Wits, Ajax Cape Town Youth, Guimaraes B, and Raufoss.

Domingo was speaking to the club media team; "he," said, "I think we are in a good and positive mindset, looking forward to the season. I think it's gonna be an interesting one; we have a good bunch of boys, a hard-working team. I know coach Gavin; he just gave us a new set mentality, and I think that's important, and that's what he brings. I think we have a bunch of players, very coachable. I'm always willing to learn and put in extra work."
