Siwelele FC unveiled new acting CEO picture

Chairman of the Betway Premiership club Siwelele FC Mr. Calvyn Le John announced that the club has appointed Lerato Kholoanyane as the new acting CEO. He further announced that Mr. Stan Mathews and the assistant coach Andre Arendse have parted ways with the club. The former Orlando Pirates defender Willem Jackson has been appointed to take over as the new assistant coach.

Le John said, "When we started this journey of purchasing Supersport United, there were two conditions that we had to meet in order to participate in the auction. The first one was to maintain all staff from Supersport United and the team will be based in Gauteng for at least one season. We did and will continue to do. We are the only team that plays all the games as away games.

"That has unfortunately cost us on traveling, so we had to put a policy in place with traveling that requires us to fly when traveling above 600 KM. We sometimes make exceptions when there are many fixtures in a week. Unfortunately, in order to run a sustainable team, there are choices that we are going to make. We are not in this for profit nor in loss either; we seek to create a sustainable team that will be here in the next ten years. That requires following our budget, regardless of how the media feels about it."
