Samkelo Zwane made his debut at Siwelele FC

After struggling to get game time at Kaizer Chiefs, Samkelo Zwane played his first game in the Betway Premiership this season. Amakhosi have announced that Samkelo Zwane and Happy Mashiane are joining Siwelele FC on a season-long loan. Siwelele FC coach Lehlohonolo Seema did not waste time but introduced Zwane as a substitute in the second half.

Orlando Pirates collected all points against Siwelele FC in Bloemfontein on Tuesday night. The winning goal came in the 80th minute by Oswin Appollis, beating Ricardo Goss. Orlando Pirates and Bafana Bafana defender Mbekezeli Mbokazi won the man of the match. Mbokazi said, "Thanks for the win. We didn't give up; we kept on pushing till we got the goal. It was a great goal by Appollis."

"When we are united, it helps us in winning games. It was a good game; as players, we said let us play direct rather than relying on crosses, and that gave us a goal." Orlando Pirates coach Abdeslam Ouaddou said, "We knew it was going to be a tough game. I will not say we played good football. I have players with personality, players with character. The team we played against was so compact at the back. They did not allow us to play."
