Ramaphosa on Relebohile Mofokeng

Orlando Pirates and Bafana Bafana star Relebohile Mofokeng met the state president Cyril Ramaphosa through his Foundation. Ramaphosa gifted Relebohile a presidential golf T-shirt and framed Relebohile Mofokeng Foundation soccer jersey. Mofokeng was part of the squad who knocked out Polokwane City in the MTN 8 at Orlando Stadium. 

Oswin Appollis and Patrick Maswanganyi's goals sent the Buccaneers to the next round. Stellenbosch FC knocked out AmaZulu FC 3-2. Usuthu coach Arthur Zwane was speaking to SABC Sport TV after the game, "I think we a little bit showed them a lot of respect early in the game. We managed to gain momentum and we got the goal. Just after the goal I think we took off the paddle; little I think again we showed them respect. 

"We should have capitalized on that; we allowed them time and space at some point in the game. I'm just disappointed in the way we conceded goals." On Sunday, Sekhukhune United came back from 2-0 down against TS Galaxy. The new signing from Supersport United, striker Bradley Grobler, completed his brace to take Sekhukhune United into the Semi-Final by winning 3-2. 

Betway Premiership champions Mamelodi Sundowns demolished the KZN Premiers Cup champions Richards Bay 4-0. The Semi-Final draw was conducted; the defending champions Orlando Pirates will face Mamelodi Sundowns. Sekhukhune United will face Stellenbosch FC.
