Orlando Pirates will go on the FIFA break seating comfortably in the top 8 in the Betway Premiership. Ezikamagebhula collected all points against Chippa United on Sunday afternoon. In the first ten minutes of the game, Patrick Maswanganyi opened the scoring, beating Nigerian goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali.

Towards the end of the first half in the 43rd minute, Namibian winger Deon Hotto got his first goal of the season. In the second half, in the 49th minute, Patrick Maswanganyi missed a penalty; it was saved by Stanley Nwabali. The former AmaZulu FC star Tshepang Moremi got his first goal in the Orlando Pirates colours this season.

The new Chippa United coach Luc Eymael said after the match, he has spoken to the club chairman about the need to strengthen the squad; he will use the FIFA break to instill his philosophy to the team.
