Betway Premiership club Orlando Pirates lodged complaints to CAF just after CAF Champions League exit. Orlando Pirates lost 4-5 on penalties against the Democratic Republic of Congo side Saint Eloi Lupopo at Orlando Stadium. The two sides first met in Lubumbashi where St Eloi Lupopo won 3-0. It was alleged that Orlando Pirates received bad treatment in Lubumbashi from the host despite the fact that the host team denied the allegations.

In the second leg in South Africa, Orlando Pirates came back strong scoring three goals forcing the game to go into penalties. Unfortunately, Orlando Pirates striker Yenela Mbuthuma missed the penalty on the day. It is reported that Orlando Pirates have officially filed complaints to CAF regarding the Head Coach Guy Bukasa. Ezikamagebhula is claiming that the coach was not supposed to be on the bench when the two teams met.

This is due to the suspension he received while he was in charge of the Democratic Republic of Congo under 20 national team. Orlando Pirates also laid a complaint about the right winger Henock Molia. It is alleged that Molia was registering after the closing date of registering players who will participate in the CAF tournament. As for the striker Ramos Kashala, Orlando Pirates are alleging that he has two different passports.

The CAF has already forwarded the complaints to Saint Eloi Lupopo for reply. They are expected to file their response by the end of the business day on Friday.
