Amakhosi, after struggling last season in the Betway Premiership, are now strengthening their squad ahead of the 2025/26 season. Last season, they finished outside the Top 8 in the league under coach Nasreddine Nabi. Despite the disappointments in the league, at least they managed to win the Nedbank Cup, beating Orlando Pirates in Durban.

It was expected that Amakhosi would go out in this transfer window. They have announced their signing of Nkanyiso Shinga from Liga Portugal side FC Alverca. He is joining the glamour boys after they have parted ways with their defender Edmilson Dove. Other players who have already left the club are Mduduzi Mdantsane, who was on loan to Richards Bay.

Sabelo Radebe and Ranga Chivaviro. Amakhosi will fly to the Netherlands for pre-season training with other new signings, the likes of Thabiso Monyane and Paseka Mako, both from Orlando Pirates.
