Neo Malema On Kaizer Chiefs

Mamelodi Sundowns star Neo Malema, who is out on loan to Simba SC, told the Soccerbeat podcast that Kaizer Chiefs were interested in him. Maema said the decision to join Simba was personal as he wanted to experience football outside the country. "I think I was aware, and it is something my agent also mentioned to me. I sat with my family and told my agent that I think the only thing that will help me now is actually a completely new environment."

"It's not gonna be another club in South Africa; I think it's gonna be outside if I find an offer. Simba came at the right time while I was still focusing on Chan at that time. They came and approached me, and I saw that it might be good because the only thing that I wanted to push was the CAF Champions League; making sure that I give myself a memorable season to compete. Never drop my level in terms of me being a player."

Maema also mentioned that coach Fadlu contacted him after parting ways with Simba , to join Raja Casablanca in Morocco . Maema said he understood that coach Fadlu 's career had to continue . On Tanzanian league , Maema said it is a different league comparing with the Betway Premiership . Clubs are more aggressive , hence he is coming from the team to that is using a lot of high pressing .
