Tunisian mentor Nasreddine Nabi will miss the Betway Premiership match against Stellenbosch FC at Athlone Stadium on Sunday. Kaizer Chiefs released a statement that the coach will be traveling back to Tunisia due to a critical accident involving his wife.
Coach Nabi will return to South Africa once the situation has stabilized. The coach has had a discussion with his technical team to prepare for the Stellenbosch FC match. In his absence, Khalil Ben Youssef and Cedric Kaze will take over.
In the next three league matches, Amakhosi will play against Stellenbosch FC, Polokwane City, and Richards Bay. This season the glamour boys will be hoping to secure a spot in the Top 8 after having a disappointing league run last season. Nabi managed to win a cup for Kaizer Chiefs after ten years without a trophy.
