Mzokoloko on why he left Ukhozi FM

Vuma FM afternoon drive host Mzokhona Gumede known as Mzokoloko told Podcast , Radio and Staff that he left Ukhozi FM after getting offer on Vuma FM . Mzokoloko hosted prime time slots on different radio stations. He hosted a breakfast show at Gagasi FM after the legend Alex Nhlanhla Mthiyane . Mzokoloko said " At that time I wasn't sure about my future at Gagasi FM . I heared about possible changes that might affect me . Yes , Gagasi FM has done a lot in my life . When Ukhozi FM approached me , it was the management led by Sbongi Ngcobo and Zandile Tembe .

" They reached out on me and I was offered afternoon drive , the co host and the entire team . I worked with Mroza Buthelezi in which i never expected her to compromise her style of Radio. I think they were trying to do something new on the drive but my style was different from my colleague . I think if I had opportunity to choose the team that I want to work with , I could have had a successful drive . The reason I left Ukhozi FM was that my style were not accommodated. I could still go back because I don't have issues with them . Our style were not the same .

" After two years i was moved to do a weekend show and midweek I was a producer . The good thing is , we did not loose listenership in the afternoon drive . There are benefits of working in the big station . Obviously is getting gigs , i then moved to Vuma FM to do breakfast show . Now im doing afternoon drive produced by Lucky Sefatsa and im having great time and support " .
