The former Orlando Pirates star Mohau Nkota scored in his first game for Eittifaq club in the Saudi Pro League on Thursday night. Al Ettifaq club opened the scoring just after seven minutes in the first half by Mohau Nkota in the match against Al Kholood. In the 36th minute, the visitors got the equalizer by Buckley. The first half ended 1-1.
In the second half, in the 61st minute, Georginio Wijnaldum finished the business to give Al Ettifaq all three points in the opening game. After the match, Nkota said, "I would like to thank fans for welcoming me, as the kind of person I am. I know I'm one of those people who likes to dance, but they did welcome me."
Nkota is also in the Bafana Bafana squad by coach Hugo Broos. Bafana Bafana will be up against Lesotho and Nigeria for the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers for 2026.
