Mduduzi Shabalala on Bafana Bafana

Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Mduduzi Shabalala is looking forward to his debut in the Bafana Bafana. Hugo Broos' side will be up against Lesotho and Nigeria for the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers. Shabalala has been playing in the last five matches, when Amakhosi managed to get five clean sheets in the Betway Premiership.

During a media briefing ahead of the Bafana Bafana's next matches, Shabalala said, "To be where I am now, I think the next step is to work hard and retain my position in this team. Obviously, it is not easy; there are players who have more experience; I can say they are better than us. We need to show and we need to play our part as players, so that we can be there in the next camp."
