Marumo Gallants holds Mamelodi Sundowns

Marumo Gallants have managed to get a point in the Betway Premiership match against the defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns. In the match played at Dr. Petrus Molemela Stadium on Wednesday night, Masandawana striker Iqraam Rayners opened the scoring in the 28th minute of the first half.

Just before the end of the first half, Masandawana defender Keanu Cupido scored an own goal to bring Marumo Gallants back into the game. The former Orlando Pirates midfielder Ndabayithethwa Ndlondlo won the man of the match. Ndlondlo said, "Today's game showed that we are capable, we can win games. From this game, we will take positives; because we know there are still other games to play."
