Mamelodi Sundowns fans on coach Cardoso

Mamelodi Sundowns fans were chanting Cardoso must go after their match against Kaizer Chiefs at FNB Stadium on Wednesday night. By the look of things, Masandawana fans are not happy about the way the club is performing under coach Miguel Cardoso. On Saturday, after they lost to Orlando Pirates at Lucas Moripe Stadium, fans went out to block the bus, demanding the coach and Sporting Director Mr. Flemming Berg leave the club.

Cardoso joined the club last year following the departure of coach Rulani Mokwena. Under his leadership, Mamelodi Sundowns lost the CAF Champions League final against Pyramids FC of Egypt, lost in the FIFA Club World Cup despite the good performances, won the Betway Premiership title, and lost in the MTN 8 semi-final. So far in the league, Sundowns drew 1-1 against Chippa United, beat AmaZulu 1-0, beat Magesi FC 2-0, and drew 0-0 against Kaizer Chiefs.
