Linda Sibiya at Gagasi FM Cross Over Show

Gagasi FM Head of Audience Experience Mr. Alex Nhlanhla Mthiyane confirmed on air that Selbeyonce Mkhize, Felix Hlophe, and Linda Sibiya will host the crossover show on the 31st of December from 21:00 to 2026. The former Ukhozi FM DJ Mr. Magic was a guest presenter for the whole week, working with Felix Hlophe and Minnie Ntuli on the Uprising. Linda Sibiya parted ways with UKHOZI FM in 2014 due to internal matters; he later joined a Durban commercial radio station Vuma FM.

It was expected that he would be part of the Newcastle community radio station, Imvula FM, after the station released a public statement that he would be joining them as breakfast show host. He was part of the panel that was auditioning new presenters. Mr. Magic was also on TV on Mzansi Magic as host of Sifun'kwazi. He is currently on the show called Umshado Unzima on Moja Love. On Friday morning on the Uprising, Felix Hlophe and Minnie Ntuli asked the listeners to send 10K likes in 20 minutes if they wanted Mr. Magic on air on the 31st.

They received 40K likes, which was enough to convince the management to agree with the listeners. Midweek on the show, the Uprising team contacted the sister of Linda Sibiya, Nozipho Sibiya, to share stories about her brother. Speaking on Gagasi FM, Nozipho said, "At home in Eshowe, we call him Mehlendoda. It is the name he got from the father. He was a man who proved himself that he could make things happen. So now we respect him as an elder, hence he's younger than me."
