Lehlohonolo Seema on Kaizer Chiefs players
Siwelele FC coach Lehlohonolo Seema broken his silence on why the two Kaizer Chiefs players , who are on loan have not been playing . Amakhosi have loaned Samkelo Zwane and Happy Mashiane to the Siwelele FC in the Betway Premiership season 2025/2026 . Siwelele will be facing Mamelodi Sundowns in their next league game , after playing 0-0 draw against Chippa United . Prior to that Siwelele lost 2-0 to AmaZulu FC .
Speaking to Sebili Molefe on Tsadipapadi at Lesedi FM , Seema said " I believe as a club we are so grateful to have a player in the AFCON . If you can look at Ricardo Goss ; he has been working very hard . Looking at his performance he is not far from the goalkeeper who has a lot of clean sheets in the league . He is putting a pressure to other Goalkeepers with six clean sheets . Hugo Broos did not make a mistake ; it shows that if you worked hard indeed you will get call up . As Siwelele Goalkeeping department , coaches and supporters were are so grateful .
" The chairman wanted us to stay in the league and has promised great things at the end of the season . He said he want the best for the people of Bloemfontein .When I joined the club almost 95% of players are from Supersport United . It has been proven in the last two seasons that things were not going well at the club . It has affected not only the management but also the player's, their mental strength and confident . That's why we have agreed to move our games from Attredville . As a coach I had to bring back the confidence in the team , yes in football sometimes you don't win .
" We went three games without a win and I have noticed that our supporters are no longer happy about that . Coming to the Mamelodi Sundowns match ; i think everybody knows Sundowns . On the issues around Happy Mashiane and Samkelo Zwane ; out team had so many good players who were not playing . I have been working hard on them to bring back the confidence on them . So many players coming from Supersport and some were not playing .
" Others who came were not playing in their clubs , others not having contracts . So they will have to work hard to get into team . I will never make a mistake by playing players who are not ready . After AFCON a lot will change , I believe those who are not playing will push hard " .
