The musician and actor Keabetswe Motsilanyane, popularly known as KB, is back in the music industry following her absence in the past years.
Speaking to Clement Manyathela on Radio 702, she said, "I used to choose, but I love both because it offers different platforms, allowing me to engage with different audiences. When I started in the industry, I didn't know much; I didn't know the business side of it. I didn't have control over my music, who owns what. I realized that when you are on stage, recording, doing all things, sometimes you have to make time and check what it is that I'm doing. I'm accumulating something; I'm creating assets for myself; I'm getting the value."
"It is important to take time to study the industry, analyze the journey, what can I improve about myself, experience. I took that time and went to all the companies that I signed with. I said I'm not fighting; I just want to understand all the types of contracts I've signed. I'm still working in the music industry because that's one thing I can do at any given time. I went to two European studios in Sweden and in Norway."
