Kaizer Chiefs captain Inacio Miguel was speaking at the press conference in Naturena ahead of the Betway Premiership match against Polokwane City. "Miguel said, "I think it was an important win to start the season. It's always good to give us the mood, but the time is short; we are playing 72 hours apart, so our focus is already on Polokwane. The camp was good to simulate the ideas of the coach with the arrival of the new players.
"It's always important to have this time together to understand and to know each other. It was a positive camp, but the most important thing was to create connections to know each other on and outside the pitch. Now it's time to go on and keep doing the job."
Amakhosi have started the season with a 2-0 win against Stellenbosch FC at Athlone Stadium on Sunday evening and will look forward to keeping the momentum following their disastrous season last season.
