Guy Bukasa on Rulani Mokwena
Saint Eloi Lupopo Coach Guy Bukasa praises MC Alger coach Rulani Mokwena . Saint Eloi Lupopo drew 1-1 against AS Simba in the Democratic Republic of Congo premier league match on Saturday afternoon . Lupopo will travel to South Africa to play against Mamelodi Sundowns in the CAF Champions League group stage match . In the second preliminary round they knocked out Orlando Pirates 4-5 on penalties at Orlando Stadium .
Speaking to Velile Mnyandu on Africa Football Connect , Bukasa said " The market is full of European coaches and most of them are old . So , presidents feel comfortable when they are dealing with those coaches . We respect them but honestly feel like , this time is for African coaches to work . The new generation must stop to struggle and be afraid to go to the pitch .
" Now to show that African coaches can do ; because in the past there were specialists in the European coaches . At the moment all of us we have possibility to learn and also to make good analysis to make good tactical approach . So I think this generation is ready to take the African football . Look what the brother did in the world cup for Morocco . Is very impressive and we are very proud because I remember when I start ; the preparation with under 20 national team of Democratic Republic of Congo .
" I played against tough teams , we had a very good relationship . We got Mokwena who is now with MC Alger . I think it's now time for African coaches to work and to start showing what we can offer . Rulani is the modern coach ; he is someone who like to take risks . You know our job if you are not taking risks , you will not succeed and they will not see you and appreciate you . He is a coach who take risks sometimes , he is very consistent in what he is doing .
" He is not getting bad results , you can check his philosophy , he has philosophy . You can see every where he's going he doesn't change . He is trying to keep that philosophy , he's very consistent " .
