Gamolemo Kekana on his senior team debut

Mamelodi Sundowns DDC star Gamolemo Kekana made his debut in the Betway Premiership match against Magesi FC on Wednesday night. Speaking to the club media team, Kekana said, "I would like to thank the coaches for the opportunity they gave me. I thank the Almighty for the talent and my teammates for the support. It wasn't the best start for me, but I know I will get through; I will still be learning and giving my best."

"I will come back strong. I was so grateful to make my debut for the team. It was something I was really working hard for, looking forward to it. My mom was the first person I called to tell that I was going to be in the camp. Just being around this group of players, good human beings; it's a blessing. Six months ago, I wouldn't have thought I would be on my debut, maybe probably in as a sub."

"I wasn't pressured knowing my capabilities and the quality I have around me. As they guided me, showing me the way; I want to be the best every time I step onto the pitch."
