Ex - Ukhozi FM DJ on legal actions

The former Ukhozi FM presenter Sbu Buthelezi announced on social media that he is about to take legal actions against his former employer SABC , Ukhozi FM . Buthelezi parted ways with Ukhozi FM following allegations regarding his chicken business . This happened in 2022 and since then ,he is not on radio . 

On social media Buthelezi said " after getting the dismissal letter which I had to sign and returned it the following day ; before I coluld returned it , I was planning to go and meet with the late IFP leader Mangosuthu Buthelezi for the radio interview . He was a high profile person so i had to make lot of preparations . I had to notify the program manager first . I got the confirmation from Mangosuthu Buthelezi PA confirming the appointment a day after my dismissal  . I made a phone call to the programs manager notifying him about the confirmation that I got .

" The interview was about Mangosuthu Buthelezi , his journey , achievements it was just a special interview . The programs manager said to me , the station manager is still in the meeting then I'll get back to you . At that time I was already out of the station , I did not get the reply but instead the station manager decided to release a public statement . He didnt wait for me to reply , he did announce even on watsapp group at work. On the same day I went on live on Facebook although I hide how broken I was .

" In all thd years i worked at the station in never being found guilty on anything . At the end they decided to take Siya Mhlongo to go to do that interview with the late Mangosuthu Buthelezi . I will pause it here fir now . I got e mails showing that , someone wanted me out from the station. The station manager reply to this person was , be patient till we get the reason to dismiss him .

Up until today I haven't got payment from the station , payment for the days I worked.  So , now I decided that I'll take matters to court not that we are fighting , I respect the current management . I'm not against SABC . But I believe that court will give us way forward . Till today I haven't got my payments even letter from HR " .
