The former Orlando Pirates and Al Ahly coach Jose Riveiro is back in South Africa just after six months. Riveiro is back in South Africa as Carling Cup brand advocate. On his arrival, he was on radio 947 with Robert Marawa on Marawa Sports Worldwide. Riveiro said, "It's a new experience like this with a possibility to give back something to our football. When Carling Black Label people contacted me a long time ago, we were exploring the possibility to do this even though I was at that time coaching Al Ahly, so I thought it was going to be a problem, more complicated.

"Fortunately for me now I'm free. I no longer have that kind of commitment. It's a pleasure for me to be back and try to contribute in a different way now. I didn't know at that time it was a small compensation about the possibility to come, nothing concrete, nothing established, but the intention on my side is to try to help somehow now in the same way. At the end of the day, it's a different role, but I'm trying to do my best, as good as possible, and people understand the nature of my role.

"I want to deliver what is expected from me. I have a good history in the competition with the All Stars team; that's why I'm here; they chose me to represent that story. I'm more relaxed at the same time; I'm the media guy, I'm not the person who I am. We have the opportunity to work with really good professionals around us in that production; they make you feel in the right space and comfortable."
