Ex - Kaizer Chiefs legend on the noisy analyst
The former Kaizer Chiefs and Bafana Bafana midfielder Jabu Mahlangu is asking fans to stop causing divisions in the Bafana Bafana team. It was seen on several social media platforms that some of the fans were not supporting Bafana Bafana, accusing coach Hugo Broos of not selecting their players from their clubs. Mahlangu said, "I'm not happy that we lost the game, but at least we lost against a strong team, a very organized team. Even we were very organized. We still need to improve a lot. We cannot change the results, but we will try next time. It wasn't good enough, but we can take the positives from this experience because we still have the World Cup."
"We will need all the players, either the same players or add other players. Looking at how they respected us since Hugo Broos took over, we were a laughing stock before when we did not qualify for AFCON and the World Cup. To qualify for AFCON and the World Cup, that's the achievement. In the first eight minutes, we had three chances; we were all over Cameroon; they respected us. If we were clinical, we could have a different story now. I think in the second half, conceding early has caused us issues. I think the technical team delayed in making changes.
