Chippa United held Kaizer Chiefs to a 0-0 draw picture

Its a relief for coach Vusumuzi Vilakazi after getting atleast a draw against Kaizer Chiefs in the betway premiership match on Wednesday night. Chippa United in trouble as they are in position 16 in the betway premiership with a possible relegation . This could be a huge setback for the Chippa United Chairman Chippa Mpengesi after sacking lot of coaches , trying to save his club from the relegation . Prior to Kaizer Chiefs game , Chippa United lost 2-0 to Orlando Pirates at Orlando Stadium last week.

Amakhosi started the game with lot of changes in their starting line up after playing 1-1 against Zamalek in the CAF Confederations Cup match on Saturday at New Peter Mokaba Stadium . In the 9th minute ,Kaizer Chiefs defender Inacio Miguel made a mistake by giving the ball to the opponent . Amakhosi were lucky to survive on that incident . Inacio Miguel is still under pressure from fans after making an error led to a 2-1 defeat against Al Masry in Egypt , in the CAF Confederations Cup match . Both sides did not create much of the goal scoring opportunities .

Kaizer Chiefs football manager Mr. Bobby Motaung , Sporting Director Kaizer Motaung Jnr spotted at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium watching the game . In the second half Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Mfundo Vilakazi missed the one on one chance with a keeper. The ball hit the crossbar . Kaizer Chiefs coach Khalil Ben Youssef made number of changes ; Ighodaro came in for Flavio Da Silva , Pule Mmodi for Mfundo Vilakazi , Lebohang Maboe for Siphelele Ndlovu . 

Mduduzi Shabalala came in for Nkosingiphile Ngcobo , Khanyisa Mayo was back from the injury to replace Asanele Velebayi . Khanyisa Mayo father Patrick Mayo was on the stand analyzing the game for Umhlobo Wenene FM . Amakhosi have now moved to fifth position in the betway premiership log table , and they will be up against Ts Galaxy in the betway premiership match at Mbombela Stadium on Sunday .
