CAF Head of TV and Communication Mr. Luxolo September commented regarding the update of the complaints made by Orlando Pirates to CAF. It is reported that Betway Premiership club has made the official complaints to CAF regarding the eligibility of coach Guy Bukasa on the bench when they were facing Saint Eloi Lupopo in the second preliminary match of the CAF Confederations Cup.

In the first leg in Lubumbashi, Saint Eloi Lupopo demolished Bucs 3-0 and won 4-5 on penalties at Orlando Stadium. On Monday afternoon in Johannesburg, the CAF Champions League and Confederations Cup draw took place. Despite complaints, Saint Eloi Lupopo is in Group C with Mamelodi Sundowns, Al Hilal, and MC Alger. Speaking to SABC Sport, September said, "These complaints have been received by CAF. They are being processed through the competence structure.

"Judicial structure at CAF. That is one part which is being processed to the judicial process in which we had to respect the process. They are all independent and their administration side to deal with the status quo. Right now we are dealing with the status quo as it is. When we will be guided by the judicial bodies; I don't know, how? I don't know. It is the independent process that is happening and we will respect that, create this wall between administration setup and judicial bodies that exist. So we will cross that bridge when we get to it."
