Abdeslam Ouaddou kept his league cup record

Orlando Pirates coach Abdeslam Ouaddou is currently undefeated in the league cup game since joining the club this season . Ouaddou joined Ezikamagebhula after parting ways with Marumo Gallants . In his first league cup , in the MTN 8 , he won against Polokwane City at Orlando Stadium in the quarter final . In the semi final knocked out Mamelodi Sundowns on penalties at Lucas Moripe Stadium in Pretoria .

Orlando Pirates went on to beat Stellenbosch FC in the final of the MTN 8 at Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit . In the Carling Knockout Cup last 16 , they beat Siwelele FC and Magesi FC in the quarter final . On Saturday afternoon , Orlando Pirates beat Richards Bay 1-0 at Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban . The goal came in the 42 minutes by Tshepang Moremi . Orlando Pirates and Bafana Bafana defender Mbekezeli Mbokazi won the man of the match .

In the post match interview with Supersport Tv , Mbokazi said " I just wanna thank our supporters , especially those who voted me as man of the match . It is clear that we have people who are supporting us . As a we played very well , even at training we continued working hard . Even thou some of the players were tired , but we managed to get the results " .

Orlando Pirates coach Abdeslam Ouaddou said " I'm happy for the boys , they played with bravery . It was not easy at the beginning but we kept on fighting till the end . The hospitality here were do sharp ; I wanted to bring some fresh legs . I wanted us to be more offensive ; here I bring Relebohile " . 

Richards Bay coach Ronnie Gabriel said " in the first half we did allowed them to have much possession . If we could have taken our chances in the second half , game could have gone into extra time . When was the last time ; you saw Orlando Pirates on delaying tactics , I mean the goalkeeper " .
