Abdeslam Ouaddou on Orlando Pirates injuries
Orlando Pirates coach Abdeslam Ouaddou has given an update regarding the player who is out on injury. Orlando Pirates will face the tough Congolese in the second leg of the CAF Champions League at Orlando Stadium on Saturday afternoon. In the first leg, Saint Eloi Lupopo won 3-0 in Lubumbashi, hammering the MTN 8 Champions.
During the press conference ahead of the match, Ouaddou said, "Makhaula is in the good way. He came back, but you know when you had such a long injury, sometimes you come back and offer; you still feel pain. So, with the medical department, sometimes you don't want to take risks and lose him for a long time. So he can come back; he had a pain and now he is recovering again."
"I think he is close to coming back to training. For now, he's running and I hope he will join us very soon. He is an important player for me. I was following him before; I love his character, I love his leadership, and he is definitely somebody who can bring something to the team." Orlando Pirates media and Communication Officer Thandi Merafe told Ukhozi FM that Relebohile Mofokeng is recovering well. She also gave an update on Olisah Ndah that he is also recovering and started training with the club.
