Orlando Pirates are through to the Carling Black Label Knockout Cup semi-final after beating Magesi FC 2-1 at Orlando Stadium on Tuesday night. Orlando Pirates started the game on high intensity, but Magesi FC goalkeeper Elvis Chipezeze made great saves throughout the game. In the second half, in the 51st minute, Tshepang Moremi scored a very good goal outside the box, beating Chipezeze on the top corner.

Evidence Makgopa, who came as a substitute, scored in the 86th minute to give Ezikamagebhula assurance. Magesi pulled one back in the 94th minute by Lehlogonolo Mokone . Orlando Pirates coach Abdeslam Ouaddou on SABC Sport said after the game, " Good performance in terms of quality of football, that we have shown. I think we started the game, like we wanted, with high intensity, with the aim to play, to quickly reach the last third of the opponent.

" I think the only disappointment is the half-time. I think we could have led with three or four goals. I congratulate the boys; they did a fantastic job. But if you want to be more ambitious in the future, we have to improve the last 15 minutes. We were 2-0 up, no pressure. We had to score the third, but instead of that, we kept on making short passes in the middle, and we didn't go forward. We are very sterile in the middle, so the only bad point of the game is the last 15 minutes.

" Really, really, in don't like it. We have to improve on that. We have a fantastic group of players coming into the game, and they are doing their best. I want to keep this fantastic mentality in our group. Every impact player who's coming in, give their best. It's very interesting for our club, but one thing we have to improve is the mentality of playing sterile in the middle. Some passes don't help us to go forward ".
